Verdita Margarita

Ingredients

For Verdita (Green Juice)

  • Whole Pineapple

  • Cilantro bunch

  • Fresh mint

  • Jalapeño

  • Mezcal

  • Water

For Cocktail

  1. 1 oz. of Freshly squeezed lime juice

  2. 1.5 oz. of Verdita green juice

  3. 1.5 oz. of Mezcal

  4. .5 oz. Cointreau (or Triple Sec)

  5. Tajin and rim salt

Instructions

Verdita (Green Juice)

  1. Prep and chop up a whole pineapple and put in a blender.

  2. Add a half of a bunch of fresh cilantro.

  3. Add a handful of fresh mint.

  4. Add a jalapeño, no seeds if you want it less spicy.

  5. Add 3 oz. of water.

  6. Blend on high until smooth.

  7. Strain through a mesh strainer, stir to help with the straining process. May need multiple strains to get the juice-like consistency.

  8. Refrigerate juice.

Cocktail

  1. Rim a rock glass with mixture of Tajin and rim salt.

  2. In a shaker add 1 oz. of freshly squeezed lime juice.

  3. Add 1.5 oz. of Verdita green juice.

  4. Add 1.5 oz. of Mezcal.

  5. Add .5 oz. Cointreau.

  6. Add ice and shake until chilled.

  7. Strain into a rock glass with ice.
